What is interactive learning?

Interactive learning is an approach to education and training in which learners actively do things (answer questions, make decisions, practice skills, and respond to feedback) rather than passively watch, read, or listen. It turns one-way content like video and slides into two-way experiences that react to each learner’s choices, so the learner is a participant in the lesson instead of an audience for it.

What is interactive video?

No. Quizzes are the simplest form, but the family runs from knowledge checks through branching interactive video and simulations up to open-ended AI coaching and roleplay. The common thread isn’t the format: it’s that the learner must act, and the content responds to what they do.

How is interactive learning different from gamification?
